We have been invited to play at Prog’Sud festival, a well-established event in the South of France, in Les Pennes-Mirabeau near Marseille. We will be the opening act for their second evening, Thursday May 17th. It is a perfect conclusion to our European Tour.

This is the festival’s thirteenth edition, and as it is stated in their website, “the programme of such a festival is a subtile balance between the joy to recognize known names and the pleasure to discover new bands, a guarantee of the continuity of the movement.” We are thrilled to be part of it.

We had a fantastic gig at The Abbey Tavern, on Kentish Road, London, on May 8th. We played “Misera Venere”, “Il Gigante Egoista” and “Quantocàmia”. The audience was very warm and enjoyed our show very much. We even sold some CDs… Kinda funny to be paid in Pounds.

Back on business! After the unfortunate event in Amsterdam, we move to Belgium then France, towards Calais where we take the ferry boat to England. London, here we comes!

Second part of our week in Amsterdam: on Queen’s Day we played at the CC Muziekcafè, and in the meantime something was happening in our caravan.

In London, we payed homage to one of our beloved bands by visiting Battersea Power Station, on the south bank of the river Thames. Unfortunately, no pig floating in the sky.

CC Muziekcafé is one of the best places where we played during our tour. Staff and audience were absolutely great. We played three times there, and every gig was terrific.

At last we landed at Amsterdam: 5 days of pure craziness, beer and… And.

In Bonn we had a fantastic gig at Maya: people were very excited and really liked our show. The staff asked us to play again, so after London we will be travelling back to Bonn for an extra gig!

Bonn was our last stop in Germany: we left the country heading to Amsterdam.

After our gigs in Hamburg, we moved to Bonn. We stopped at Dortmund where we had a meeting with the people at the Inside Out progressive label. Some musings about the European music scene follow.

Speaking about shoes, a friend of ours pointed out this comment by Noel Gallagher:

If a fashion house is a record label – like, Dior – do you think fashion would stay the same if they asked the consumer what they wanted to wear next summer? Why does fashion always move forward and we all look different with different haircuts and we’re all different? It’s because fashion doesn’t focus group it to its fucking customers.
